Childminder software, built around
getting Ofsted-ready.

Your daily records, EYFS 2-year checks, risk assessments, invoices, funding and accounts — in one place, organised around what inspectors actually look for. Built and used by a working childminder, not a software company.

One tool for the whole job — not five apps and a spreadsheet

Most childminders juggle an observation app, a separate invoicing tool, a shoebox of receipts and a folder of policies they hope are up to date. This brings the lot together, and puts your Ofsted readiness at the centre — so you always know where you stand before an inspector ever knocks.

Everything inside

A genuinely complete toolset.

Ofsted readiness

  • 84-point readiness checklist — a full self-audit, grouped by Ofsted area, so nothing is missed.
  • Renewal reminders — DBS, paediatric first aid, insurance and policies, with calendar links.
  • Local child-health data — your council's figures, with prompts to talk about local need.

EYFS documents, done properly

  • 2-year progress check — the statutory check, built from your own words (tidied for you, or left exactly as written).
  • Risk assessments — general, outings and risk-benefit, from a ready-made pool you tick and adjust.
  • Sign off & print — a clean, dated document you can hand over or save as PDF.

Children & records

  • Child records — enrolments, schedules, starting points and key-person links.
  • Accident, incident & medication logs — quick to record, kept for the statutory retention period.
  • SEND tracker & document vault — plans, consents and certificates, with expiry alerts.
  • Get your data out — CSV, JSON or PDF, including a leaving-child transfer pack.

Money, funding & tax

  • Compliant invoices — the Jan-2026 funded-hours layout, private hours and optional extras, clearly separated.
  • 15 & 30-hour funding — a live term countdown so entitled and taken hours always add up.
  • Bookkeeping — income and expenses in childminder categories, shaped for Self Assessment and Making Tax Digital.

Parents

  • Parent portal — parents sign in with a secure link, no password to forget.
  • Contracts & policies to sign — sent, signed and dated online.
  • Availability & waiting list — a public page that fills your places for you.

And it stays out of your way

  • Works on your phone — record an accident or check a countdown between activities.
  • Your data is yours — export everything, any time. No lock-in.
  • No clutter — the tools you'll actually use, not fifty you won't.

Why it's different

Built by a childminder who uses it every day.

Ofsted-readiness first

Other tools bolt compliance on as an afterthought. Here it's the spine — the checklist, the reminders and the documents all point at the same goal: walking into your inspection ready.

From real frustration

It grew out of paying for clunky software that made simple jobs hard. Every tool here earns its place because it solves a problem a working childminder actually has.

Honest about what it is

It helps you prepare — it isn't an Ofsted product and doesn't submit anything to HMRC. It gets your numbers and your paperwork into the right shape, and leaves the official steps to you.

Questions

Good to know.

Do I need to be good with computers?

No. If you can use a phone and fill in a form, you can use this. The whole point is to make the paperwork simpler, not add another complicated thing to learn.

Is my data safe, and can I get it out?

Your records are yours. You can export everything — children's records, invoices, accounts and documents — as CSV, JSON or PDF at any time, so you're never locked in.

Is it "Ofsted-approved"?

No tool can be — Ofsted doesn't endorse software. What this does is help you prepare: the checklist mirrors what inspectors look at, and it keeps your documents and records in order so you can show your practice with confidence.

Does it do my tax return?

It keeps clean, categorised books shaped the way Self Assessment and Making Tax Digital need — income, expenses and profit — ready to hand to your accountant or type into your return. It doesn't submit to HMRC for you.

What does it cost, and what's the catch?

Free for your first year, then £9.99 a month. No catch — it's early access, so you get in cheaply and help shape it while it grows.
